How System 2000 Works

The Digital Energy Manager continuously monitors the need for heat, both in living areas and in the hot water storage tank. It's this "smart" central control device which allows SYSTEM 2000 to sit cold until heat is needed. When there are heating needs, the digital manager alerts the system, and in less than 90 seconds, the energy converter is distributing full energy output where required. After heat needs have been satisfied, the digital manager distributes energy remaining in the boiler and puts it to work either heating the home or the hot water tank. This purge control is what dramatically contributes to savings as compared to conventional heating systems or other cold start boilers.

State-of-the-art LED indicators on the manager display boiler temperature and the areas of the home requiring heat, as well as the status of the burner, circulator or draft inducer (for chimneyless applications). The system option switches have a hot water priority function so there is never a cold shower, and the five zone control lets you choose individual thermostat settings for each area of the home. An alarm interface detects the lack of fuel or burner operation, inadequate boiler water flow, proper function of temperature sensors and boiler freeze conditions. The manager can be connected to home security systems, signal lights or devices and dial-out systems, which allow for service to be scheduled before a no-heat call, providing peace of mind even when you're away from home.

This proven solid state technology comes with a full five year warranty and includes an extended protection plan for the life of your SYSTEM 2000.
